Hello everyone.
This weekend we travel to Birmingham to lead a weekend retreat for Canterbury UMC. This is will be our second time with this church and it's an event we've been looking forward to since our time with them in November.
Also, my parents left for Haiti to do medical relief in Port au Prince on Sunday and they are planning to be in Haiti for the week. I received a text from them yesterday saying the destruction was hard to believe, but that on Sunday there were many Christians dressed for worship. Please keep my parents and the entire nation in your prayers.
We are all able to support the relief effort in Haiti. Please visit Compassion's relief effort to find out how you can help. Both as a band and individually we've trusted Compassion with our money for several years now and we believe in what they do around the world. If you live in the United States then there's no question that you've been financially blessed. I am confident that these temporary blessings will become lasting curses unless we forward them to those in need. We've been blessed in order that we might bless others. My money is not my money and your money is not your money. God, help us to live in this truth.
Thanks to everyone who continues to check in with us. It's humbling that we're still in a position to lead people in worship both in Auburn and around the country. Thank God for his favor. Without his favor none of this happens.
There is hope,
Jason and TRWP
