Lyrics and Chord Charts
Posted by Steven on 07/09/2010Perhaps the most humbling moment for a band such as ours is the one when someone tells us that one of our songs has meant something to them, so much so that they would like to be able to share it with their community back home. Our hope is to continue to make such an act, the sharing of songs, easier for the would-be sharer. Toward that end we have put up chord charts for the songs "What Love?" and "Halleluiah" in the music section of this website. You can also download the lyrics to all of the songs on (So Sing) there if you'd like. Thank you for joining in these songs with us. May he increase in your sharing of them.
In his love,
Steven

An Overdue Update
Posted by TRWP on 04/07/2010Folks,
Just a quick note to let you know whats going on around here. I'm sure most of you have been getting the messages about Cornerstone voting. Keep it up. You will be kept posted on that.
First, Thomas Harbin has quietly joined our band. Though Thomas was originally going to fill in for Brian, who will sadly not be with us on the Summer Trek due to any bands mortal enemy...school, we eventually realized that he was too good of a musician and dude to not bring in immediately. So we did. Once again God has dropped a great musician that we get along with into our path. Thomas will be sharing keyboard and guitar duties with Andrew this summer. He has longish hair and will be the one who doesn't appear in any of our pictures. Then again we don't really have those so...I'll just tell you which one he is when it seems appropriate.
As for (So Sing), I am excited to tell you that we still like the songs. If you've created anything before, you can relate to my excitement. What is more exciting is that we've managed to find all kinds of ways to get it to you. The latest one happens to be for free. If you head to www.noisetrade.com you'll see our album on the front page amongst the Top Downloaded albums on the site. If you don't see it there and:
1. Don't have the album
2. Have the album but would love another copy.
or
3. Are the cynical kind who doesn't believe anything is free and just wants to catch us in a lie.
Then go to www.noisetrade.com/theriversideworshipproject and in exchange for your email and zip code you will receive a download code for the album. The email address is so we can keep thank you and keep you updated on what we're up to. The zip code is so we can track you down at home and personally invite you to a picnic we may be having in your area.
The fun thing about Noisetrade is that the price is up to you. It can can cost you anywhere from your email to $100.00 USD. 100 dollars you say? Ok yeah that kind of seems ridiculous to me too. But if you wish to support the financial side of the band, yes there is one and its rather large and hairy...think a troll with a bad temper, then you can donate however much you'd like.
I'll take this opportunity to shoot straigh with you. Everything we do costs money. I know, it sucks. I didn't think it would either. But when you're in Utah making peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches on the side of the road you realize it does. Stop. I'm not complaining. Being in a band is better than I thought it'd be, and I thought it'd be pretty great. It is worth it even if you only spend money. On top of that God has always provided for us in ways we could never have planned. That said, everything costs money. So, to those who decided to throw a few bucks in the pot, thank you. You may think its not much, but I promise you it helps. If you didn't pay for the album, I'm glad you didn't. I would not have expected you too. Because everything costs money for you too. And you've probably never heard of us. Plus, giving stuff away is more fun. If you did like it though, do this for me. Burn it for people. Or upload it or whatever your preferred method of piracy is and then go vote for us to play the mainstage at Cornerstone, because mewithoutYou is playing the same stage on the same day and I really like them and that would be so cool....
I don't know for sure if that is everything I wanted to say to you, but I'm going to try to write more of these throughout the next couple of months and into the summer so we'll get it covered.
